Fly Deck

No words needed!

Full sails

Caught up with this yachtabout three miles off shore on a day of real high winds and four foot swells. To get this picture was almost imposible - Midas Touch was really rolling and I had to take a dozen shots to get just one decent one.

Midas Touch

How do you describe ultimate luxury? I guess everyone has their own idea of paradise but what ever your perception - Midas Touch delivers - and some!! The down side? she is rather thirsty and only those with very, very deep pockets are advised to express an interest! (by the way that's the skipper on board, the other two crew were busy preparing lunch!!!)

Palma Cathederal

No words can describe this building especially with the back drop (only seen from the entrance to the harbour)

Mirror image

Taken in a bay in Mallorca the water was like a mirror. I went walking with my camera at sunrise and on my way back to the boat we were staying on (Midas Touch) the sun rose well above the horizion and created this simply stunning scene.

All tied up

These boats were in a harbour in Mallorca and just jumped up as a "picture" although the sky looked clear and blue it was in fact quite a cool day (by comparitive standards anyway) and the cool light gave a vivid image.

High & Dry

Found this boat on the beach in Alderburgh as the sun was rising, the sky was so clear and there was not another person around so I'm not sure if the boat had just finished a nights work or was ready to go out during the day - but it made a very interesting scene.

gone for a dip

I dont think this needs any explanation - what do they say about a picture being worth a 1000 words?

September sunset

Took this within seconds of the sun going down. the light was fading and the sun was disapearing in what was a sky with the lightes cloud, all of a sudden there was simply the most amazing colours a momment later the sun had dropped below the horizion and the colours had gone and the sky changed to flat dark emotionless blue.
